A MULTI-YEAR GRANT PROGRAM,
Philadelphia’s Cultural Treasures

supports and creates opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners of color, including groups and organizations, that are making enduring contributions to our city and its residents, despite historically limited resources.

by fostering greater recognition, equity in investment and long-term sustainability.

$10 MILLION IN TOTAL GRANTS 

will be awarded through funding from the Ford Foundation and a collaborative of five regional funders, all committed to an equitable pandemic recovery: The Barra Foundation, Neubauer Family Foundation, The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, William Penn Foundation, and Wyncote Foundation.

 

America’s Cultural Treasures

Philadelphia’s Cultural Treasures is a regional effort of the larger national initiative from the Ford Foundation, created to acknowledge and honor the diversity of artistic expression and excellence across the nation.
